organizational strategy and Wildfire recovery
Very few people move between a studio production and a Sacramento legislative hearing in the same week. Both demand the same thing: someone who can hold a complicated, high-stakes situation together and keep it moving when a great deal is riding on the outcome. For 25 years I have done that in film and television. Since the Eaton Fire I have been doing it in wildfire recovery, and I advise legal teams and mission-driven organizations working in the same terrain.
My house is in Altadena and I have not been able to move back into it since the Eaton Fire. I co-founded Eaton Fire Residents United in January 2025 and have run its operations since. EFRU was the sole sponsor of AB 1642, which the Governor signed in September 2026 along with AB 1795, creating the first smoke damage standards in the country.
I advise plaintiff teams on what recovery required and what it actually delivered. I have read the hygienist reports on Altadena homes and watched what the carriers did with them.
ADVISING PLAINTIFF TEAMS ON WILDFIRE CASES
I build the operating structure a young organization needs once the founding rush is over. I have done it for every production I have run since 2001, and for EFRU from inception.
